Kelley Blue Book Lauds the 2017 Ram 1500 Crew Cab Pickup

The full-size, half-ton, light-duty truck from the "America's Longest-Lasting Pickups" moniker received from the auto authority a highly respectable 8.9 out of 10 rating. We at Kayser Chrysler Center can certainly see why.

Against segment standards like Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado, and GMC Sierra, says KBB, 2017 Ram 1500 remains a "worthy rival," with "big, bold, semi-truck-derived styling" dovetailing "surprisingly comfortable driving manners." That's certainly owing to the smoothness of ride afforded by the Ram 1500 coil-spring and multi-link rear suspension. But Kelley Blue Book found a favorite feature in the pickup's optional air suspension, one that our Sauk City Ram aficionados share. Not only does the available system deliver improved ride feel and handling; it also helps ensure reliable load leveling and creates a towering ground clearance up to 10.7 inches – excellent for navigating the geographical slings and arrows of Sauk County fortune, and indeed, the landscape of southwestern Wisconsin.
