Powerful Engine and Four Wheelbase Options
The 4500 performs with the highest level of capability, and the Chassis Cab holds many best-in-class positions. Powered by a 6.7-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel engine, the 4500 has a maximum payload capacity of 9,660 pounds and maximum towing capacity of 24,650 pounds. With a combined dual fuel tank and 74 gallon tank capacity, the 4500 also ensures fewer fill-ups during your longest trips.

Commanding Design and Supportive Technology
The 4500 comes standard with dual rear wheels, which is ideal for multiple heavy-duty hauls. The dual rear wheels have both traction and stability for any and all trips. The truck has no chassis components above the rear frame rails and has wiring throughout the frame. Fog lamps and automatic high-beam control headlamps add safety and visibility for all, by allowing drivers to see wherever they are going with clarity and encouraging surrounding vehicles to be more aware of the 4500's presence.Â
The interior of the vehicle features advanced technology to lend support and entertainment while driving. Exclusive to the RAM Chassis Cab lineup is Uconnect Access Direct. This system comes equipped with Bluetooth for hands-free communication, as well as SiriusXM Satellite Radio. Optional navigation is displayed on a full-color 3D imaging screen, allowing drivers to stay on the right track with ease. A 7-inch configurable multiview display is also exclusive to the class, and it offers access to the vehicle's performance under the hood.
