Powering the Chrysler 200
The 2015 Chrysler 200 delivers exceptional power. Available are the 184-horsepower 2.4L Tigershark MultiAir II four-cylinder engine which delivers 173 lb-ft of torque or the 295-horsepower 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine which delivers 262 lb-ft of torque. With the V6 3.6L engine, the 2015 Chrysler 200 has more available horsepower than Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, Ford Fusion and Chevrolet Malibu.The 2015 Chrysler 200 also features a 9 speed rotary shifter automatic transmission. The Rotary E-shift features a wide gear ratio spread that provides smooth, indecipherable transfer between gears and efficiency in all gears and speeds. It operates electronically rather than mechanically, requiring less interior space. The Chrysler 200 is the only car in the segment to offer a nine-speed automatic transmission. Note that steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters are standard on all Chrysler 200S models and 200C AWD models. They are included on 200C front-wheel drive models when equipped with the available 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine.
